Current Status – 6/19/06 (Juneteenth) 8:45 MST

We are hijacking a wireless signal from parking lot of the Laramie Public Library, which doesn’t open til 10.

We spent last night in Medicine Bow National Forest at the Yellow Pine Campground. Our first tent night in a thunderstorm. We now know for sure the tent doesn’t leak (phew!). This morning we took a short hike from our campsite.

Our plan today is to drive east and north to Thunder Basin National Grassland on our way to Devil’s Tower in NE Wyoming. We’ll see how far we get today. But with a 75 MPH speed limit, we can make time. Hopefully.
